Deleted my original QT. I jumped the gun on this - beating the market is nothing like a fair coin flip. This is a better way to look at it

I thought there was something like an rng.gen_bool() for a fair coinflip in Rust. A quick search took me into this alternate reality

I know there used to be jokes about our then-great relationship with Canada; still weird to see this scene last night on Madam Secretary

T. Rex, Electric Warrior. It's from '71, still slaps. Sadly they weren't around long - Marc Bolan died in a car crash in 77.

Album art by Hipgnosis, check out the Squaring the Circle documentary on Netflix to learn more about them.

Fiery Furnaces, I'm Going Away. FF is the Friedberger siblings Eleanor (vocals) and Matthew (keys and some vocals).

FF has some unusual stuff; this album is maybe the least so (but Drive to Dallas gives a hint of that). Some other albums are synth-heavy, or for more rock check out the live Remember

Arrow, by Heartless Bastards. Rock with blues and a little country. Not sure what to compare it to, maybe Tom Petty or early Wilco.

Ugly, by Screaming Females. All of their stuff is great, I just picked this one because it has the Steve Albini treatment.

Marissa Paternoster on (excellent distorted) guitar and vocals (clean + vibrato, no screaming). Sadly they recently broke up, but I think she has some solo stuff in the works
