We could. We should. We don't because there is too much profit for Big Pharma and Insurance Companies! It would solve a lot of our problems and help the economy! We pay for those ER visits that go unpaid by the poor in rising healthcare cost.

I did get my social security check! It was a process and I logged in and called several times. Call, put the phone on speaker and do some work or watch a movie. After a couple hours someone eventually picks up. "efficiency"....

Well said! I did just get my social security check. It was a process and I called at regular intervals. Wait times are in excess of 120 minutes! It took getting to a human to figure out the delay. Instead of a 30 day process it was 62 days.

Me too! I will stand and speak! Mr. Elias, the threats to Social Security has everyone on edge. Cutting that puts seniors and others in the streets! There will be riots. I don't see Trump following through on what the court is telling him to do. Now what? How can citizens remove a POTUS?

Not everyone has the means to leave the country. Even if they did, many won't leave their grown children who have families and can't afford to leave the country either. My husband turns 80 this year, he refuses to leave. I would, America is not the same country in which I grew up.
