Trying to keep it all together. Your biggest fan. Writing, reading, travel, family, crochet ... in some order.
I have been enjoying the reminder to visit one of these fantastic March Xness essays every day so far this month. Sometimes we just need a little reminder to breathe.
"Approaching things in new ways is scary: I think it’s worth the risk. "

3/9 it's @katiedarbymullins.bsky.social's ode to Robbie Williams's "Rock DJ" from March Danceness 00s: marchxness.com/thegames#/2x...

Jess is up again in @marchxness.bsky.social, championing "Milkshake" against "Tik Tok"! My mom read Jess's essay and said it was great, so you should read out too. Give "Milkshake" a vote while you're at it: if Jess reaches Round 3, she's beat my best tournament showing. It'd make her day!

This was so much fun! Congrats to Deanne Battle and Jo Lo! Thanks everyone for following along, sharing and voting. I really (really really really) needed that levity.
Tough losses today for some brilliant songs and essays. Sending our appreciation and condolences to Elise Gorzela, @crystawrites.bsky.social, Raquel Gutiérrez, and Emilie Begin. You crushed your essays and played a great game. Surprising results today, but we salute you!

Hey friends! I did a thing, and it needs your support to get through to the second round!
This @marchxness.bsky.social match was also close, but JLo seems to be pulling away. I'm Team Thong—it captures 2000 as well as "White Rabbit" does 1967—& @crystawrites.bsky.social's very funny essay is full of amazing twists & turns. SO INFORMATIVE.
