It is so absurd. I seriously can’t comprehend the idiocy - where it is easier to believe that disabled folks are faking it than it is to believe that our (arbitrary) workplace policies and spaces create barriers and contribute to employee absences. Ableism and capitalism are one and the same.

We can’t forget about COVID’s impact on kids. Long COVID is the leading chronic condition for kids now (symptoms include brain fog). COVID impacts their development as it impacts all organs (eg. brains). We didn’t protect them, now blame them for their deficit (not you, but “society”). It’s sad.

I’m just not down with the exploitive nature of this. The disabled are not valued in themselves. “Society” only values the disabled when they can be exploited to be of “value” to society. Ableism is rooted in capitalism.

I get it. Especially when I know I can do it. It’s just so darn frustrating!! I sympathize.

I truly don’t see the error, but I understand. I do the same thing. My husband can’t watch when I unravel my work but I feel better in the end. Your work is beautiful and your jumper is amazing. Maybe one day we’ll accept imperfection and see the beauty in it. I’m sorry 😞

I sometimes pull a single oracle to help guide or inspire me. The “question” will be more broad vs specific. I sometimes pull a single oracle alongside my tarot pull or spread. I find tarot gives me tough love whereas my oracle decks are comforting- giving the encouragement I need, guiding my path.

So simple (in concept) yet so engaging. Makes me want to dream up some stories.
