Unless the thread was from college students with no concept of basic food handling, then no. Even with shitty US food safety, it's still quite safe here (though less than it used to be). They're probably confusing the consequences of drinking a half liter of vodka with food poisoning

India has no soccer culture at all. Cricket is everything. Every bar has cricket playing nonstop. Even women's cricket league matches garner 1000s of spectators

to be added. There is no real need as the mix could include powdered egg, but breaking an egg into it allows Americans to think that they are cooking. We taught our children basic culinary skills (how to cook eggs, use a knife, boil a potato etc) and their friends think they are gourmet chefs

Americans have the worst diet of any industrialized nation with most of their diet from ultra-processed food. (Disclaimer: I live in the USA but am British). Almost no one is able to cook from basic ingredients any more. "From scratch". Best example of this is Brownie mix. This requires an egg
