While I don’t have any cool mechs to show off, here are some of the smaller things I’ve been working on for #BattleTech. Some turrets I modelled and got printed are now painted up with a basic green speedpaint. Also, my Assault and Cavalry lances are now basecoated and washed, ready for SLDF green.

The third member of my Star League Defense Force lance for #BattleTech, the Blackjack. This is by a healthy margin the best miniature I’ve painted to date. Checkers are new to me, but with the aid of a pencil are quite doable.

The second member of my 3rd Star League Defense Force lance for #BattleTech, the Grasshopper. The zombiest of mech. I’m quite proud of the hazard stripes and black accents. Green and black is such a nice combo to paint.

The first member of my in-progress 3rd Star League Defence Force lance for #BattleTech. This is the Lyran Commonwealths homegrown Panther-hunter, the Wolfhound, with another use of Versus’ PPC technique. Love how the mech and the ppc came out.

As Red Team was literally the first miniatures I ever painted I have promised myself I would keep them the way they are. They will serve as a monument to my progress as the years go by. While stripping them is a fun idea, I think I’d rather buy new miniatures of the same model and paint those :3
