Have often thought they should put the main road in a sunken tunnel on the lake bed, leaving the current route as a cycleway/access road, no through route for motors.

Great Pic! I went out yesterday morning to try to see these, but they didn't put in an appearance before I had to return to work! Did get a brief sighting of a yellow-browed warbler though.
