it is even worse that grants i applied to MONTHS ago that are usually DISPERSED by now have not notified applicants (like TWG)

Toyota are famously the most reliable brand you can buy, they do super well off road with the AWD and have great gas mileage if you can do the hybrid PLUS bigger than your Kia Soul. You could have this car forever if you wanted to.
