Warren Zevon’s music has always been a huge influence on me, so it was great to see if acknowledged by the Hall of Fame. Regardless of what you think of the lifestyle that made the music, it hits hard, the lyrics are often sardonic and funny and heartfelt and heartbreaking. Taken away way too early.

I’ve spent the last month making three new music videos for some of our new songs that we’re working on. It’s always a fun process, but this last one was a challenge to finish. It’s always a nice dopamine hit when I toss another pile of notes and scripts in the trash and celebrate another one done.

This week is the anniversary of our debut album, LIFTOFF. I was really proud of this release, which wouldn’t have been possible without band mates Steve and Jake. We’re hoping to complete some new music in the near future, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

I know a lot of other creator folks get that same feeling when they go back to something they made and don’t remember how they did it. I think this quote from Leonard Cohen is right. I think the trick is to recognize when you’re in the zone, and make the most of your time while you’re visiting.
