Our Emmy cat passed this morning. She was the most perfect expression of what a cat should be that I’ve ever known. At night she’d climb on my hip & sleep; the warm weight of her was the first thing I’d feel upon waking. My soft, clever, beloved girl. I’ll miss you more than I can even begin to say.
