I've got some big plans for this little house! Décorum from @floodgategames.bsky.social is the first game on the table tonight. Ready for @cptawsme.bsky.social to ruin my design.

Heat is easily my favorite racing game! My car crashed on the last turn but still had a great time! Such a great board game.

No dnd tonight, but that means we can play some board games! First game was Comic Hunters, which was a ton of fun. Then we played Strike! Now we play Last Bastion.

Love assembling these Lego Technic sets with the kids. Maybe one day we'll get one of the big sets.

Time for some dnd! Always love getting together with friends to see what kind of shenanigans our party can get up to. That's the fun of ttrpg for me.

Ok publisher friends! This is a good game! I've played it and the combo building and worker placement is pretty unique. Love the theme and it needs to be made! Let's tag the publishers in the comments we think should take a look and get this game signed!
Looking for help finding a publisher for this co-design, Horns of Harlem. It's a mid-weight worker placement/tableau builder about managing a jazz band during the Harlem Renaissance. It's consistently well-received, but we've been very cautious about pitching b/c we want the theme handled with care.

Instead of the first #TTRPG you played or bought, how did you find out about them?

My interest really was started from watching the Titans Grave series on YouTube.
Instead of the first #TTRPG you played or bought, how did you find out about them?

This is an easy one. The D&D article in Dynamite magazine.
Instead of the first #TTRPG you played or bought, how did you find out about them?

My dad used to go to a bookstore called The Magic Door and would take me with him. They had the OG D&D books, and later Runequest, Traveller, and the first basic set. /1

So Board Game Geek says you should rate a game as a "10" if "you are always excited to play it and expect that to never change" what are some surprising picks for you that hit this 10?

Kickstarter is great if you have a bit of spare cash and want to be surprised two years later by a board game that won’t fit in your fucking house.

Always asking the tough questions! Anyone tried playing Diplomacy or Cosmic Encounter over Thanksgiving with the family?
I need to decide what #boardgames to take to family Thanksgiving. I need games that aren’t complicated enough that no one wants to play but require enough thought that people will be too busy thinking to start arguments. Thoughts?

I'm hosting a #boardgame night for my parents and their friends sometime in the next month. Any suggestions for games to play? This play group doesn't have any experience with boardgames and there should be 6 people.

For those of you #boardgamegeeks who need 2-player options, here’s a fun alternative.

It’s like chess, but the available moves are determined by cards that change game to game and move from player to player in-game.

Quick. EASY to learn. HARD to master.
