I didn’t think I would enjoy this as much as I did! Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with many of the words + events of Afghanistan during this time, but I got the main points of the story. If you’re hesitant about this book, go in knowing nothing like I did, and give it a chance!

I’m slowly making my way back to arts and crafts! I’ve done crochet, a little bit of sewing, I have materials for knitting, I like diamond painting, drawing, doing puzzles…and you can always do both! You could do arts and crafts while listening to an audiobook! As a pro hobby-hopper I condone this 🤩

I’m totally a night person! I work night shift so I’ve been leaning into that even more. But I always feel so much more productive at night 🌙
