Springtime in North Central Arkansas. #arkansas
Black cherry blooms against dense wood background. White flowers with pink interior. Redbud blooms against dense woods. Contrary to their name they really are purple. Rue anemone bloom against forest floor. Lightly pink around the exterior fading to white with yellow stamen (?). Woods with a straight path through them. Grey, cloudy sky and the barest hint of green on some trees.

I was lucky enough to spend most of last week at this little cabin in the woods of North central Arkansas.

The Buffalo River in Arkansas is such an incredible place. My kids have done a fair amount of growing up on it and they are luckier for it.
