I was out in Hardwick this afternoon with local Councillors. Very positive response from residents to the extra 5 million appointments delivered by the government since July 2024.

Later I visited the Michaelmas Fair in Banbury and tried my hand at "Catch any Dalmatian"!

Cllr Crichton said: "I get that budgets are tight and that more money needs to go further after years of cuts under the last government, but that shouldn't come at the expense of quality. I have written to the County Council to ask that they look to tidy this area up as soon as possible."

Cllr Andrew Crichton, Oxfordshire County Councillor for Banbury Hardwick, has called for roads to be resurfaced properly after resident complaints following recent micro-asphalt works in his division.

I was criticised for saying at a local hustings last year that the Conservatives were becoming a party of Climate Deniers. Now it is official policy undermining decades of cross-party consensus on the existential threat we face. A shameful policy.

I have written to the Liberal Democrat Leader of Oxfordshire County Council to express my disappointment that OCC sent no representative to the Crime and ASB Roundtable I held in Banbury today.

I did not even receive a response. This is not good enough and Banbury and our villages deserve better.
