I don't particularly like where this is going, but from my chifonse wedding night fic...
“Chika?” Alfonse murmurs. “Do you wish to stop?” “N-No,” she stammers, “I just...you...won’t laugh when you see me, right...?” “Why would I laugh at the most beautiful person across all the worlds?” “I’m not that beautiful...” “Hush now, I know that is not true,” he chides gently, rubbing soothing circles on her forearm with his thumb. “Won’t you allow me the honor of seeing all of you...?” “A-All right.” Chika’s arms slide away from her body, revealing her breasts. Alfonse’s eyes dart around, heat blooming across his face and swirling in the pit of his stomach as he drinks in the sight of his beloved queen. He swallows thickly, willing himself to say something, but no words come out. “S-See?” Chika says. “I’m not—” “But you are the one I want,” Alfonse replies, dipping his head to press a kiss to her shoulder. “I don’t know the extent of what those nobles have said, but...erm.” He blinks shyly. “... I have never been one to care much for the appearance of someone’s breasts when it comes to how I feel about them. I love you for what is inside your heart, Chika. That is what makes you most beautiful in my eyes.” Alfonse kisses Chika’s other shoulder, but this time follows the curve of her neck. She shivers. “My wish, in us being together like this, is not for the end goal of securing the legacy of a cold, unfeeling throne. I want to give you a warm, vibrant home to return to every night. You deserve nothing less, and I see it as my duty as your husband to bring you that future and ensure you’re never left wanting for anything ever again.”

I've got something of a little FEH shrine going in a part of my entertainment center where my consoles are.

Alfonse is speaking in ancient Askran, which in my lore they figured out together and use as a secret code.
“I love you,” Alfonse breathes, having slipped into the ancient tongue. He rests his chin atop Chika's head and begins stroking her hair. “Now, and for the rest of time...I am yours, my beloved queen.”

I typed up some late night 🔞 chifonse thoughts and screenshot them so I could label this appropriately. 😳
So I've had thoughts where Alfonse returns from some "official royal business", stressed out and tired. Chika offers to help him relax, and it starts as something as innocent as getting him out of his armor and giving him a soothing massage. Then it quickly gets more sexual in nature, with Chika sinking to her knees and freeing Alfonse from his pants...only for him to stop her. He doesn't want her "below him", only as an equal or greater. She then climbs into his lap and rides him, foreheads pressed together and hands on each other's shoulders. Soon relaxed, he carries her to bed and they fall asleep. ...Did I just type this? Yes, I did.

Any relief the princess felt before turns to cold dread that weighs heavily in her stomach. She shrinks back as the king looms over her, normally warm eyes glinting like ice. "What in Askr's name was running through your mind?!" Alfonse snaps. "You could have gotten both you and your sister killed!" "F-Father, I–" "I don't want to hear your excuses, Eira. You are the crown princess–my heir! Your mother and I have raised you to be more responsible than this." He clenches and unclenches his fist. "Breida has very little experience in battle, in case you've forgotten." "N-No, Father. I haven't forgotten..." Alfonse shakes his head with disapproval. "You're suspended from Order missions until further notice. I will inform Commander Anna upon our return." "B-But–" "My decision is final."

Chika's response to Alfonse, and the 'official' beginning of their relationship. 🥰
"...I do feel the same, Alfonse," Chika finally answers after a moment of silence passes between them. She looks at her feet. "Truthfully, I let myself believe you couldn't possibly see me as anything more than a friend because...I'm not from this world, or any of the ones you're most familiar with." "Chika..." "Lord Askr told me something when I confided my doubts to him, though," she says. "He said, 'the wonderful thing about us all, gods or mortals, is our abilities to form lasting connections with one another. I believe these deep bonds can go beyond kingdoms and empires, even transcending entire worlds if given the chance! The possibilities are so limitless, and sometimes the easiest way to start...is simply by reaching out'. So it was then when I started turning my thinking around. That maybe, just maybe..." Alfonse tilts her chin up so their eyes meet again. They regard one another with shy nervousness, each progressing moment feeling new and even a little terrifying. His finger and thumb remain there as he considers something. "...May I court you, Chika?" he breathes as they get even closer. "Is that similar to dating?" Chika asks without thinking. A puzzled expression flashes across Alfonse's face. "I cannot say I am familiar with that word in this context, but it sounds as if it is a romance custom in your world?" She giggles. "Um, sort of, I guess...but forget I said anything. We're in Askr and you're an Askran prince, so I want to do this how you best know it. I want to keep learning more about your country and customs. " Chika's face flushes even brighter. "And...I want to keep learning more about you, too." "I wish to keep learning about you as well, Chika," Alfonse murmurs, voice softer than Chika has ever heard it before. "...So it seems we're in agreement, then?" "You may court me, Alfonse. But I want to keep this between us. Is that...okay?" "But of course. That is how I would also prefer it to be. My deepest love, my whole heart...is for you alone. Not the Order or my people, not even my family, or our closest friends." He hesitates. "...I'm truthfully terrified to allow someone in to this degree. I hope you can forgive me if I falter while we pursue this path." Chika smiles, leaning into Alfonse's still lingering touch. It's all he needs for his answer. With her, he knows his heart is safe to learn how to love again and make mistakes while doing it. He feels a rush of new courage surge through his blood.

A confession from Alfonse to Chika on this lovely Tuesday morning.

"My father used to say I feel too deeply for other people. That I need to remain as strong and steady as possible and not give in to the emotions that would cause me to hesitate when it truly counts." Alfonse looks away. "...But I've done some thinking, and have come to the conclusion that if I keep fleeing connections, and especially the sort of feelings I have now, that I run the risk of losing yet another person I care so much about." "Alfonse–" His head snaps back forward, eyes shining with unshed tears. They lock on her own. "Please, I ask that you allow me to say this or I fear I may never have the courage to do so again." Chika nods for him to continue, startled but understanding. Alfonse takes her hands into his own, so desperately wishing he could feel the skin hidden underneath the leather gloves. "Losing Zacharias twice made me realize that I don't want to repeat the same mistakes, and if I am to do that, I want to try and be more open with you, Chika." He takes a deep breath. "Which is why I must confess it is no longer enough for me for us to remain as friends. I have fallen in love with you–romantically, if my intentions still seem unclear, and can only hope and pray you feel the same."

Was inspired to write this random thing after seeing this prompt.
Chika is pregnant and having a hard time sleeping so Alfonse tries to help.
Moonlight filters in through the curtains, the night still and peaceful. Alfonse looks up from his book, rubbing his eyes and taking a moment to stretch. Just as he's about to resume his reading, he hears a quiet sob coming from the direction of the bed. Alarmed, he sets the book down and crosses over to where Chika lays. She looks up at him with a pained expression, clutching at her belly. "They won't let me sleep..." she whimpers. Alfonse climbs into the bed next to Chika, pressing their foreheads together as he strokes her sides soothingly. "Have I ever shared with you the lullaby my mother used to sing to Sharena and I?" he murmurs. "No, I don't think so..." Chika studies his face curiously, her pain temporarily forgotten. "Ah..." Alfonse swallows, suddenly bashful, "...I'm not by any means as good a singer as you, but..." "Doesn't matter," Chika says, tracing her finger across his shirt. "If it comes from your heart, it's worth hearing." "Well, in that case..." He clears his throat and brings his hand up to cup Chika's cheek, stroking it tenderly with his thumb. "Under glittering, gleaming stars Let the troubles of the day fall away You may rest now, even if dreams still seem far My arms, they will keep you warm and safe from harm So close your eyes, sleep well knowing you're always in my heart" Alfonse smiles as Chika now snoozes peacefully beside him, having been lulled by his words into sleep for the first time all night. He carefully rises from the bed and blows out the candle before returning to her, drawing up the covers around them as he drifts off easily as well.

Chika laughs and cranes her neck to give Alfonse a quick peck to his lips. “I'm sure the tailor will forgive you, Al,” she teases. Then, dropping her voice to a whisper, Chika adds, “… I certainly don't mind.” “You are such a tease when you want to be,” he mutters in her ear with no heat in his words. “… I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Alfonse buries his nose into the space between Chika’s neck and shoulder as he begins to slowly roll the dress down. He takes in the floral perfume on her skin and sighs deeply, feeling dreamily intoxicated by her scent. As the dress reaches Chika’s hips, Alfonse tentatively nibbles on the skin of her shoulder, leaving behind a small mark before trailing a path of kisses down her neck and to her back where the laces of her corset begin. He grumbles lightly, pulling away and rising up so their eyes meet. “...Must you have so many layers of clothing, Chika?” he chuckles, feigning irritation.
