Over on itch, Mawthorne has been reduced to $5, and the original Shera is FREE. This is not a sale, it's a price reduction as these games are getting older. If you enjoy them, I hope you'll check out my newer games too 🙂

Finally.. You can see where I forgot to erase part of the logo PNG. This little bit shows up on all of these "bluer" EWJ backgrounds, including my original.
Anyway, I'm not claiming ownership (it's just slightly bluer artwork obviously) just think it's funny to see. Hope this was entertaining 😅

This is the blue image, also note the darker ridges along the top and corners that make it into the Earthworm Jim image. You can also see how I used it in a few different similar thumbnails. It's not GOOD and I'm not PROUD of it, but I did make it long ago lol

This is the original artwork, more yellow, less blue. Basically, I had a blue image overlay I used a lot for many different thumbnails, that had a clear center to make things pop. You can tell, because the background is also less blue in the center, not just Jim... 👇

So, here's a wild story. I randomly came across an image I altered years ago showing up in image searches. You may see this specific image pop up in searches relating to "Earthworm Jim background" or "wallpaper", that's more blue than the original.. yeah I'm the one who made it blue 😅 👇

My goal for Mariana Sequence is to invoke that 90's feel of gaming comradery, when a friend or schoolmate would share something about a game you didn't know, and you'd be amazed when it did actually work.

Beyond Mawthorne 1 Reborn being my final redemption arc, it was also an experiment using my own custom module in NESmaker to see if it would help me make games quicker and more efficiently... and it does 👍
