Love that Wuthering Waves just throws little easter egg references to other games into its achievements. This tribute to Diablo 2 particularly amused me and gave me a little nostalgia.

My streaming recap for 2024 is not what I hoped it would be. Averaging barely more than one stream a week for the entire year is pretty disappointing.

The right music can make a good boss fight great and make a great boss fight legendary. Star Wolf's theme is unparalleled as boss fight music goes, IMHO. Especially when you can listen to it without hearing your squadron mates constantly begging for help.

I remember the first time I did the harder Hades fight. I got my ass handed to me, but the whole fight left an amazing impression on me because of this music playing in the final stage. No other game would dare to use something like this for boss music. So damn good.

This song just *feels* good. It's not fast, and may not seem like it's suited for a racing game, but damn, it just feels so nice. Love a good groovy bass line, and this definitely fits the bill.

If PUBG brought back this lobby music, I would definitely be more inclined to organize games of it with friends. This may just be lobby music, but it sets the tone perfectly for what a game of PUBG should be.

This may seem like cheating for some people, but there was no way I was going to make it through this without including a song from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. This is my favorite song from the THPS1 soundtrack, and I always associate it with THPS before anything else.

There used to be a two-hour extended cut of this song on YouTube. I remember putting it on in the background and then losing myself in crafting games for hours. It's such a good song for initiating and maintaining hyperfocus.

The F-Zero franchise will always be near and dear to my heart, and F-Zero X will always be my favorite console game of all time. But this track just epitomizes racing music for me. It's fast, but it has a groove, and it kicks into a higher gear (no pun intended) just in time for the end.

This song *is* Subnautica to me. It's beautiful, it's eerie, it carries a tone of longing, and it has just the slightest hint of menace in the bass line. If I could, I would play this song on repeat in almost every zone in the game from 300m deep and lower.
