Lots of talk of social batteries running out. Very relatable, but can we talk about how recharging these sometimes results in staying up until 3am just to fill your quota for alone-time on that day?

I have received multiple texts prior to an upcoming doctor’s appointment, multiple communications about forms to fill out, how I need to arrive early, etc. Not one of these messages said I’d need to pee in a cup when I got here. US healthcare is about managing liability and profit. Not helping.
