Housing First works! SLO County, CA currently has an ordinance that makes it illegal to sleep outside. This applies to sleeping in tents, on benches, in bushes, and even in vehicles. People are getting arrested and charged with misdemeanors. It would be cheaper to house these folks.

Bluesky feels like Threads used to. Lots of democracy loving, human rights supporting, good people. I’m hoping its moderation will be better than Meta’s cuz Threads has become a shitshow.
