When I lived in MSP for that brief stint, I lived near the Somali enclave. Incredible food, welcoming, generous, polite.
The Somalian women at the farmers market used to give my little nephew free chicken and rice that he loved. I am glad they’re here.

They should also carry brooms et. al. and walk the streets during warm weather clearing broken glass & refuse. If we’re not going to sink millions into streets and sanitation (like we should), make these overpaid dorks ACTUALLY clean up the city.
Not really a fan of more cops on the streets but if they're there anyway... pick up a shovel, asshole.

I think it’s more paradoxical. My phone runs on “ultra wide band cellular wifi” but when I plot a route on a map app it tells me to drive through neighborhoods with 30 left/right turns because that’s a shorter distance.
it’s so weird to look around and realize like, tech and media are materially worse than a decade ago
