I’m a Colombian artist born in 1964. https://www.cristina-rodriguez.com/ I’m horrified that Americans chose as their president, a felon criminal, a rapist and a puppet of Putin, of Elon Musk and of the creators of “Project 25”!!!!!!!

The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) announced that it will no longer publish content on Elon Musk’s platform, X. The organization said it can “no longer ethically participate in a social network that its owner has transformed into a machine of disinformation and propaganda.”

In the new clip, they altered her SNL line “I think I might have to arrest someone for being too hot,” swapping “too hot” with “illegal.” Most people aren’t on X anymore, but if you are, please report the new video to help get it taken down like the last one. (Posted on the White House X account

Our government is a joke and not a funny one. Hopefully she sues. The White House posted a video of Sabrina Carpenter promoting deportations just days after she blasted the Trump administration for using her song as “evil and disgusting.”

Most discussions about “misinformation” treat the problem as if people simply don’t have good enough critical-thinking skills. It sounds intuitive, but it’s not entirely accurate. The problem isn’t just individual ignorance, it’s the structure of the information environment people are placed into.

The political stupidity of Lammy and Starmer’s attack on trial by jury is astonishing. They have handed their enemies a gift. The radical right can say – entirely truthfully – that Labour wants to take power from ordinary people and give it to its mates in the judiciary.

Don't fall for the manipulative "censorship" framing of EU's fines against X for DSA violations. The EU is trying to enforce their laws. X is breaking them. And the U.S. government is defending big tech, billionaries, & bullshitters rather than protecting users. www.linkedin.com/posts/daphne...
Don't let anyone tell you that the Commission's DSA enforcement against X is about speech or censorship. https://lnkd.in/g3Cyeeyk That would, indeed, be interesting! But this is just the EU… ...

The broader issue: what conclusions will the E3 draw from the US announcement of a strategy of hostility towards European democracy?

The urgent issue: if we insist on supporting Kyiv's resistance, will the US prevent us from providing 🇺🇦 with European-owned arms coming under US ITAR restrictions?
The stark message in the NSS on where Europe ranks in US priorities also makes tomorrow’s meeting a good moment for Starmer and the 2 Ms to revisit the disastrous handling by the Commission of the UK bid to join SAFE, and the delay in agreeing how to raise a loan against frozen Russian assets. End

Quite breathtaking story - military grade drones at Dublin airport which flew on the path Zelensky's plane took. The drones reached the flight path of his plane exactly the time it should have been there, but just missed it because Zelensky arrived ahead of schedule:
Four unidentified military-style drones breached no-fly zone to target Zelenskyy's arrival in Dublin
Gardaí are investigating whether the drones took off from land in Dublin or from an undetected ship.

The new National Security Strategy is a propaganda document, designed to be widely read. It is also a performative suicide. Hard to think of another great power ever abdicating its influence so quickly and so publicly. It will be worth following the reactions around the world, not just in Europe.
Trump's national security strategy is out and some of the Europe sections are shocking. "...the growing influence of patriotic European parties indeed
gives cause for great optimism."
