Without downloading any new pics, what's it like to date you

I finished! It’s so heavy and I rushed the decor, but it’s as good as it’s going to get.

I made another pan of cornbread after this, so the kids could have one for the weekend, and I could take one with us.

I had help with the photography.

Tomorrow I have more errands and appointments for kids, and I need to do laundry and get groceries as well.

Spent Monday recovering from Sunday. Tuesday I sewed a bag from pieces I cut last week.

Today I had appointments and errands, but I’m quilting the top flap of the bag by hand. It’s slow.

Spent the next day recovering and baking for Easter gathering with family.
Mocha banana cake with chocolate espresso glaze, and almond cake with cherry. It was supposed to be fresh plums, but they were bitter and brown and bad. Subbed Fabri sour cherries in syrup, which made the cake overly sweet.

Took youngest clothes shopping, found four pants for myself in clearance (when did high waist baggy come back in?).

Cooked and baked a fair bit. Read a lot. Visited an afternoon with a friend.

Took a trip into NYC to the Met.
Cleopatra’s Needle in Central Park, NYC, just outside the Meteopolitan museum of art. A stone obelisk from Egypt, inscriptions worn down by hundred of years of erosion. Plaques on all sides translate as best they can. People surround the relic, taking pictures and gawping; the photographer has covered their faces with emojis.
