Once I have finished a large painting, which I work on stapled to a flat wall. I then have to mount it. In this case on a wooden canvas stretcher frame, which I have to assemble. Then the painted linen canvas has to be stretched over the frame (painted canvas is a bitch to stretch). then varnished.

Although I posted this painting before. It was a low rez image. this is a good resolution photo of a gallery installation from some years ago. It is called "We are the shape of the hive' and is 60" x 60", oil on canvas. The entire installation stands about ten feet high.

I remember I did a series of drawings and paintings as I fell down that particular rabbit hole. Oddly enough, most of the paintings were sold. Here's an early sketch of one of the paintings...
