Why are fuckwits concerned that the minimum wage is increasing? Where's the latent insecurity coming from? FFS.
This is incredibly grim

Rachel Reeves says this Labour Governments decisions are "necessary."

Why is it always necessary to hit the living standards of the 99%?

When are we going to make the necessary decisions about extreme wealth?

What is truly pathetic about Labour is that this is all they have got. They have failed so spectacularly already, despite a whacking great majority, to even attempt to govern positively that all they have is punching down on marginalised groups and saying "oh but Reform will be worse".

What's fascinating here is that as she rhymes off the list of gender critical people at Newsnight pursuing an explicitly gender critical agenda, in the context of a discussion of ideological capture at the BBC, she doesn't recognise that she was part of the ideological capture of the BBC by GCs.

The next Scottish Government should require & incentivise the restoration of Plantations on Ancient Woodland Sites on private & public land. Scotland needs commercial forestry but not at the direct expense of precious native woodland on which so many conifer plantations are located. #MairTreesPlease

1.5c.... as if we are still below it. The trouble being that these targets are themselves lagging indicators. We've hit 1.9c on several occasions this year already. The most urgent threat facing humanity and we still talk of GW as something of a future problem.

There is no peace in Palestine - just death and destruction by a racist and apartheid regime armed by the US/UK.

The PM's intervention on this matter is clearly ill-judged and political. The framing as anti-Semitic is simply vulgar. The visiting support has a history of violence across the continent and local policing should dictate the safety risk not the PM.
The UK Football Policing Unit (UKFPU) has some choice words…

…for a PM who aggressively inserted racially-charged accusations into a local safety issue, seeking, seemingly on personal whim, to override well-informed local law & democracy mechanisms, and risking public safety.

Woah! So Labour's position really is, 'telling us off for breaching human rights undermines the case for human rights'? Proper Trumpian stuff from Labour's answer to Suella Braverman.

What a difference a few years make.

FYI: The new ‘peace plan’ is still inconsistent with international law and human rights protections.

This is grim & dangerous over reach.

This is a government that have lost the moral argument & are still selling arms to Israel. Now further cracking down on dissent.

Absolutely the opposite of what they should be doing - so of course this is what the Labour Government choose.
NEW: Home Office announces planned new anti-protest powers, mainly aimed at pro-Gaza protests like those for Palestine Action. Police will be able to consider the "cumulative impact" of repeated protests and potentially order that they be relocated.

What an admirably clear statement from the Jewish Leadership Council, especially when all of those involved must surely have been dealing with so many other urgent challenges in safety, security and grief + shock today before having this further divisive and distracting intervention to address too.
