the longer Severance goes on, enh.... the metaphor for DID is still there, but it's definitely not being capitalized on. which is a shame they'd rather write a "gasp! [redacted] is alive?" type drama. it's okay but nothing really wows me

i have things to say about the Elden Ring DLC, Miquella, and community reaction to the story. namely that the ER community at large is bad at understanding stories. people desperately want Miquella to be Griffith for "the berserk reference." but thats just not the case 1/x

saw Severance recently too. it's pretty solid, emotional and funny, with great camerawork. but until season 2 finishes, plot generally feels like an abundance of mystery boxes that likely won't have a satisfying pay off. there's a theme that I'm not positive is intentional, but- (1/x)

finished my first play thru of Disco Elysium. people weren't kidding about how great it is. genuinely heartfelt and thought provoking amidst the wonderful chicanery

now that I'm a "hag" (27), I'm starting to get why old folks enjoy sitting on porches so much. I've got a 2nd story overlook where I can watch trees swaying, squirrels and crows messing about in the branches, and cars going by below. it's pretty scenic, nice to watch or dissociate to.

it would be nice to have some type of immersive sim Kino's Journey game. the more i see of the kinda janky Peripetiea cyberdystopia poland makes me feel it would be a nice game to get lost in. desperate for new hyper fixation ever since i lost mine
