It's a frightening rabbit hole I've found myself in, comparing names of scientists brought through Project Paperclip to the names of prominent figures involved in this mess. Some Vogts (aka Vought) and a Thiel are tempting my curiosity about those 1600+ family trees. Many brought entire families. 🤔

Apparently disabled people should simultaneously get out the house and get to work, whilst also only being "genuinely disabled" if we can't do anything other than exist...

Hey! For a fun exercise for fun. Start making plans for the worst case and ID what that means for you. Make contingency plans and orgánize with the people you trust while identifying dangers and surroundings. Study tactics from history. Check your phys limits. Pay attn to the flagged words. For fun!

Fellow NDs, don't spend a second on trying to explain anything to the allistics this disability pride month. They never do, and they don't deserve our clarity when they choose to be rude, dismissive, and generally awful to us when we misunderstand. This month, let them stew in being misunderstood.

An example of casual ableism. State something vague and be insulting to someone for misunderstanding your vague bs seems to be trending during disabilty pride month, because of course it is. I'll never understand the willingness to go on the offense for something that was not in any way combative. 🙄
Genius, you enable location sharing, report ICE, disable location sharing, then move away. ICE knows where they are so it doesn't help them to find you if you tell them where they are.

Never tested it personally, but a Maalox and water mixture on the skin can (apparently) provide instant relief for various gasses (tear/pepper/etc), saline solution for the eyes, and some swear a vinegar soaked cloth or bandana to breathe through can help with inhalation, water too.
