Outside of that, Portugal is supposed to be a pretty big hot spot for expats. Vietnam and Laos are stealing some of Thailands thunder. Malaysia is an absolutely beautiful country as well. If you have kids, getting into many countries will be easier due to education visas.

I'm moving my family to Thailand, Krabi specifically. It's just an amazingly beautiful country and has pretty easy visa requirements for longer stays if you can work remote. Thailand is safer than virtually anywhere in the US, has all the same amenities, amazing food and the people are great!

I will never even log in to Twitter again and I’m pretty sure my account has been deleted. Elon lost his mind and I won’t do anything, in any way, to support his platform of bullshit, hate & intentional misinformation. If Bluesky somehow fails, I’ll just give up this form of social media and move on
