Senator Ramos was once a strong and vocal critic of Cuomo. She stood with survivors, she stood with Queens, and she stood for transparency.

At a time when our democracy remains under existential threat from Donald Trump and his allies, we must be the standard-bearers of principled, accountable leadership. That means not only standing up to authoritarianism in Washington but also confronting abuses of power here at home.
