I'm actually worried more now than I've ever been for Zelenskyy. Trump made an ass of himself but he's not going to blame himself. I'm afraid Trump is going to get on the phone to Putin and sell out the location of Zelenskyy because he's pissed.

He's trying to message that check to his supporters. He's saying if they do his bidding and "save the country" then he considers that in his opinion they haven't violated any law, so he'll pardon them.

To be fair to Merrick Garland, the Supreme Court's immunity decision, which they took two years to issue, threw all the prosecutions into the toilet.

He's not going to let us have free and fair elections. Do you think he's doing all these moves only to leave open the opportunity to let voters vote them out? Why would they overlook that?

They're definitely breaking the chain of command intentionally. As you say, they've set themselves up as a man in the middle.
