A professor at Texas A&M taught… something related to gender that offended a student, who secretly filmed herself objecting. That video is picked up by TX legislators, who demand her firing, and now the dean and dept head have been fired.

An omen for Dalhousie? Dalhousie President Kim Brooks just ordered a shutdown of teaching a week before students move in and during the time most profs prepare classes. I'm not sure this big chaos energy is going over well with students or @dalfaculty.bsky.social

in an era of invasive social media, data leaks, data breaches, etc., I'm not swayed by legal experts using "privacy concerns" to criticize this particular police use of drone technology. Distracted drivers are a menace on the roads - pure and simple.
