I was thinking of doing some sports commentary-style videos with a snappy blow-by-blow of all the action in Stewpot ranked games. If I can get Evil Hat to notice, they might even employ me as a BitD commentator. They're always trying to promote their tSports league "The Axis of Evil (Hats)" and I really think I could bring something to that. How do you think I should proceed?

I'm lucky. This might be the most confusing interaction I've had in my video comments.

I checked him out afterwards. He has a few hundred subs, videos complaining about being forced to go on dates in D&D, and is exclusively subscribed to gamergate and manosphere stuff.
Chud: Then what's the point of having a gm or buying it when the person in charge can die in game Me: I dunno. What's the point in having a GM that can't die? :) Chud: because the GM is the one who runs the game. GM dies, game is over. Me: Ah. Was just going through my emails and realised this designer who irritated me so much a month ago was the Gates of Krystallia people - the ones at the centre of the UKGE controversy.

The backers of the game spent a crazy amount of money on it. Over £100 each one average.

It really sucks when a video bombs. I try to figure out why: Was it the typo or the thumbnail font?

You have to accept it's just out of your control... which is actually scarier, a kind of cosmic horror where your work is judged by vast, powerful, uncaring and unknowable entities like YouTube.
Subscribers are choosing to watch this video less often than usual, contributing to 54% fewer views. A graph shows views over time where the line is far below the usual range

What is a Storytelling game? In the spirit of games like Alice is Missing, Till the Last Gasp and Fog of Love, BENEATH THE TREES has the structure of a board/card game - while focused on telling a story. Unlike a TTRPG BENEATH THE TREES WHERE NOBODY SEES doesn't have a traditional head of the table GM. This is a player-led experience, both collaborative and competitive, with interactions and events dictated by the player's will and imagination... and the roll of only one die. IT'S NOT A TTRPG; IT'S NOT A BOARD GAME. IT'S A STORYTELLING GAME!
