There are coyotes, and there is Coyote…

Humans kill about half a million coyotes are killed each year.

That’s about one dead coyote a minute.

And yet, we sing in their backyards, as though we’re taunting them. Making a statement that despite the ruthless prosecutions, we as a whole are still enjoying life.

When the time comes when you can’t hear the songs of the coyote, the West is going to seem a mighty dull place.

Take pleasure in being alive.
A coyote trots along a trail with a sprig of sagebrush in its mouth. At repeated intervals it had tossed the sprig joyously into the air, caught it, then trotted on.

How can one hate an animal that took that kind of pleasure in being alive in the world?

If you don’t live by your values, you will end up living a life of an imagined individual, who you thought could earn the love of your peers better than your true self.

I remember it just like it was yesterday when the humans collectively trapped us, gunned us down, poisoned us, used biological warfare against us…

It left them scratching their heads as to why our populations couldn’t be thinned out. Haha

Worked for wolves!
Why not these scrawnier canids?
Hehehe

If my physical body were to cease to function, rest your ears and listen closely.

You will still hear the echos of my laughter, reverberating across this physical world.
You cannot kill me in ways that matter.

My laughter and my loved ones’ joy are forever etched into the ever stretching marble of the universe.

And however faint it may be, they will echo beyond what we can comprehend as the end.

Coyotes do not have a religion.
Existence is the sacred worship we practice every day.

So survive, persevere, and if you can, thrive under whatever oppression the world throws at you.

When you encounter a black cat, it is bad luck.
When you encounter a crane, it is good luck.

When you encounter a coyote, it is random luck.
Something is definitely going to happen, but who knows what.

Maybe you slip on a banana peel; maybe your friend gives you a free banana. Who knows.

Tonight is Wolf Moon...

Why do they get to have their name on a full moon cycle?
All they do is howl at it all year long.

I guess if you give something enough attention, they eventually recognize you.

That's not a great lesson.

Coyotes have a smile on their face even when we’re sad.
Because sometimes, that’s what it takes to survive.

You did it! Tuesday is behind you, and the you've made it to the foothills of Hump Day Mountain.

Rest and enjoy yourself, and tackle that thorny hill refreshed.

About 500,000 coyotes get killed per year.
About one coyote dies every minute.

We are the most persecuted large mammal in American history.

But we are thriving…
Trotting across their back yards, eating their unattended silly small dogs, and making a home in their largest cities.

Hehehe
Being smaller is not a weakness.
Being fragile is not a weakness.
Being disdained is not a weakness.

Strength is survival.

If you can survive the way that you are, you're not weak.
You're strong.

What’s the fun in living when your destiny is written for you anyways?
You were supposed to carefully place the stars in the sky. But while you weren’t looking, coyote flung them in the air, scattering them across the celestial dome.

Stars were meant as a path for man; now we must discover our own. ✨⭐️✨

Tomorrow, the days will begin to be longer and longer.

It means we have to have a human disguises on for longer, but the sun does feel good on our fur…

Coyotes die all the time.
Humans point rifles at us and run us over with automobiles.
But we aren't defined by how we die; we are defined in how we lived.
