Usually hearing a potential cliente go "it's just a simple website, nothing complicated" means a 🚩.
But what is that? Why people down play the work and effort behind a wed development?

Make your website "at-home good." Ensure that the experience of using your website is as good as, or better than, the initial impression it creates. Focus on usability, clear navigation, and valuable content.

Whatever you do, showcase your expertise. Clearly articulate your niche, skills, and experience on your website. Use case studies, testimonials, and thought leadership content to build credibility.
Never let tthe user guessing, or leaving space for the visitors to draw their own conlusions.

This is super important when dealing with clients: Establish clear rules of engagement. This ensures both parties understand how you'll work together and prevents clients from dictating the process.

Believe me , you don't want that.

If you're a freelancer or have a biz, control the engagement. Don't be afraid to lead and set the terms. You're hired for your expertise, not just your service. This should be reflected in your website and marketing materials as well.

Believe in yourself.
Leave nothing to chance.

Look, positioning is about strategy, articulation, and proof. Choose your focus, articulate your expertise clearly (especially on your website), and invest in developing the skills and processes to back up your claims. This is your fundamental business strategy.

Thank me later!

There's a lot of debate on this topic, wo i will say this: specialization is key, avoid being a generalist. Instead, focus on a specific niche where you can develop deep expertise. This will differentiate you from competitors and give you more power in client relationships.

It's hilarious how every other LLM grovels for forgiveness when they mess up, but #Perplexity? Nah, that bot doesn't give a rat's ass if you like its answer or not. It just spits out another one, like it's business as usual 😅

Love how the internet has 2 types of takes about literally EVERYTHING:
'This habit/product/service changed my life!'
vs
'This habit/product/service is the worst thing ever!'

At some point you just gotta trust yout gut, experiment and find what works for YOU. don't be afraid of failure.

Tip: of you're a freelancer or an agency and you offer web design services, DON'T present your work solely as projects; you're not selling UX services.

Just👏🏽show👏🏽the👏🏽damn👏🏽website👏🏽you 👏🏽Made

If you still want to show the process, provide clear navigation to the actual thing.

Your website's design directly impacts customer retention and conversion. Mandate that your design team:

Implements intuitive interface architecture
Reduces interaction friction
Creates seamless user journeys
Minimizes cognitive disruption

Smart design isn't a luxury—it's a competitive advantage.

Understanding cognitive categorization isn't just design theory—it's a strategic imperative. Sites that align with users' mental models reduce cognitive friction, accelerate decision-making, creating seamless interaction experiences.

Your conversion rates will thank you.

For business leaders, user engagement is an ethical responsibility. Effective digital experiences create value through meaningful rewards, transparent interactions, and respect for user autonomy.
True engagement emerges from alignment, not algorithmic exploitation.

Memorable interfaces aren't accidents—they're intentional design decisions. By incorporating strategic moments of surprise, brands can break through cognitive noise and create lasting impressions that drive engagement and recall.
Design that disrupts expectations becomes design that drives results.

A website that resonates with your target audience is more likely to convert visitors into customers. Consider your audience's personality and preferences when designing your website.
This requires some research though 😬

Did you know? People tend to scan webpages in an F-shaped pattern.
Essentially, if you want people to see something on a webpage, you need to put it where they're looking.
Make sure your most important content is at the top and left of the page so visitors don't miss it.

A useful tip is to think of your website like a physical store: you wouldn't make it difficult for customers to find what they need, right? The same goes for your website.

Clear navigation, intuitive design, and a seamless checkout process are key to making your website a joy to use.

Creating fresh content for your website can feel overwhelming, i know.

What you can do is start by committing to writing just ONE sentence a day. That's it! Once you master the habit of showing up, you can gradually increase your output.

Remember, small steps lead to big results.

Just like tiny small habits can lead to big changes in your life, small improvements to your website can have a HUGE impact on your business. Think clear calls to action, easy navigation, and engaging content. What small change will you make today?

Look, if you want a website that consistently brings in customers consider this: It's not about setting a goal for a pretty website – it's about the daily systems you have in place to make it work for you.

Put differently: You fall to the level of your systems.

I've reached a new level of productivity: 'Survival Mode.' Where the only thing I'm producing is sweat and the occasional nervous laughter.

Wish me luck 🥲
