In the end grading is difficult, whether you are talking about an essay or a grant review. Especially when you are trying to come up with the appropriate scores for those that are on either end of the scale. Although I doubt it would’ve helped in this case, blinding is very useful.

Except in this case the student could have submitted a 650 word essay about Bluesky being an anti-white echo chamber and could reasonably have expected a grade somewhere between 1-5/25. Zero is a bit harsh.

“The only certainty in U.S. foreign policy from the last helicopter out of Saigon in 1975 to the Kurds after the Gulf War in 1991 to the 2020 Doha Accords and the Afghan evacuation in 2021 is that American loyalty comes with an expiration date.”

The submission has nothing to do with the paper assigned. X/10 was based on demonstrating you read the paper, another x/10 was based on responding to the paper, and x/5 was writing. I fail to see how you find “average” or “pass”. I’d give somewhere between 3-5 depending on word count.

He is not lying. Gasoline is below $2 in Omsk, Rostov and Kaliningrad to name just a few.

Not just hpv vaccination, but vaccine schedules, doing it as part of school vaccination and jabbing boys who are close to 80% vaccinated at 13 iirc.

Like maybe wearing a twin-tipped Fred Perry polo and a nice pair of khakis ?

I am no lawyer but I wouldn’t interpret Anglo-American law to be anything but American common law. In much the same way that when someone talks at me about “Judeo-Christian” values they’ve never recently come from the synagogue. Interesting that all of you think otherwise.

I could do a microbiology major without having to sit through another botany or zoology lecture. Dropped both courses and never looked back.

To quote JD Vance:
“The fault lies with your leadership, elected by you.”

I prefer tear down elevated freeways, like they do in Seoul.

It is Fort Worth I’ve never been to. But I have been to both Austin and Houston and think freeways should bypass cities not run through them.

I’d rather not.

The claim that “external winds do not cause illness” is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that weather upsets our Qi.

Where are their suits ?

You were the only reason I visited VIA.

Every American citizen is closer to 100 dollars each. I guess the new health care model is: “A good first aid kit in every home.”

Translation

Christian Americans are more likely to be involved with foster care than the average (Christian plus non-Christian) American. Foster parents are more likely to invoke a faith-based motive as opposed to (for example) a profit motive.
Trump finds this amazing, perhaps even perplexing.

I am no expert. Other than spokesperson, does the minority leader have any actual power at all ? What happens if you ignore the minority leader ? Zero I’m guessing.

Going with never happened, or at least not like that. In what universe would anyone assume crazy mom was referring to the whole group as opposed to some subsection that she identified ?The response would be more like oh James and the crew ? Yeah sure they’re hellions but that Kate is a tornado.

It isn’t just rural areas.
