Remember more than 80% of US federal career employees work outside of the Washington DC area. EPA is shutting down its scientific research division, which helps keep our air & water safe. It’s overwhelmingly staffed in Cincinnati, Ohio, with ~1000 employees there. The OH & KY Senators don’t care?

Had the same thought. We are so desensitized to so-called collateral damage, it hurts my heart.
Not to be a wide-eyed naïf about such things but... am I right in thinking that they levelled an entire building to get to one guy and *that* is not controversial to anyone in the American media or political class, only that this information was recklessly shared in an unsecured chat?

Currently Facebook has a stranglehold on good folks. We tried to move off into Bluesky, but Bluesky is more Twitter than Facebook. So many people rely on Fbook for family notfications, etc. Why is there not a woke (proudly claiming that) new Facebook? Or have I missed it?
