I appreciate that goats will remind you that the pens are a suggestion they choose to respect, and not actually stop them
I also love the cheeky smile and pose from the one on the left

One of the things I truly love about Parkdale is I've never seen a place organize so fast and hard. The government can try to do sneaky shit on a Friday, and by Sunday they've organized and covered whole area in notices, and by Monday the government is walking it back.

Oh cool, they're doing this again. I went last year and really recommend it. You wander the old fort grounds, plus out to Garrison Common and the old military cemetery by Strachan. Lots of stories about The Unexplained. No jump scares or anything like that; history is haunted enough.

got invited to join a local arts collective, which comes with 24/7 access to studio space--I set up my sewing machine for the first time in years; it lives here now. Somewhere to go in winter to create stuff where nobody expects me to buy things.
Also omg this window in the communal kitchen. Light.

Eeee the market here in apartment/condo-land has a crate of tiny pumpkins for us who dwell in tiny places. I haven't carved a pumpkin since I was a kid. Totally got one.

spent the afternoon with @cassaclyzm.bsky.social in Christie Pits. Was walking home through Bellwoods and ran across a jazz quartet, Kubla, playing under the changing leaves. Such a perfect day.

you can bring your crochet to the skydome and get your project done in the spaces between pitches
(I kinda want to try to organize one of my crafter groups to a group night next year)

Rode the lakeshore trail out to Etobicoke Ribfest to hang with @cassaclyzm.bsky.social and one of his friends, then walked up to the Queen West Art Crawl in Trinity Bellwoods. Lovely end of summer day.

Two fun things:
- Glad Day, the oldest queer bookstore in the world, just moved to my neighbourhood!
- I hadn't heard of this author 72 hours ago but boy howdy I'm happy to try!
(also got books from Chuck Timgle and the latest Judith Butler, fall reading list is go)

Went out to Mississauga today to check out @graffickeralley.bsky.social, a celebration of local artists. Got this stunning Elpis print from @gladewinds.bsky.social and some very cute stickers from byMokru (on Instagram). Very cool event, A Good Time
