Congratulations- not necessarily an education book, but a great leadership book is ‘Start with why’ by Simon Sinek. Great for getting your vision right and holding onto it.

Love your show Chris - always listen on the commute to work. Have listened to you since you were on the old station, missed you when you weren’t on radio. Then loved it once I found out you were going to be on Radio X. Keep doing what you’re doing 👍🏻

They were such an asset. Really helped make a difference, when placed in the appropriate areas, funded properly and staff with the right professionals.

I had hoped we were now beyond the constant churn of Ed SoS!

I think we just have to let Reform run councils, realise they can’t do most of what they promised, and it’s in fact really difficult, and prove how ineffective they really are as a political party. Unfortunately, children, adults, roads and bin collections will suffer in the meantime.

All mainstream seem to boil it down to toilets. I’m not transphobe, but I don’t agree that biological males who transition should be competing in women’s sports, placed in a female prison or put on female ward in hospital for example. Which toilet cubicle they go into isn’t actually the problem.

I have no problem with more unit provision in schools, but in out Trust, two of schools agreed with their LA’s to set some up and both have been treated poorly when LAs reneged over the previously agreed funding. Both schools now have deficit budgets as a result!

He does kick boxing - but is an orange belt, so not sure if he has enough experience to help out - but we could ask. Thanks

Okay - will look at that. Sadly even local animal rescue shelters will only take him if he is 16+! Guess it’s all to do with risk assessments & DBS’s

Looks great - hope it leads somewhere beautiful

This is such good news

As you say, this is about ‘child care’ and saving money. And there is nothing wrong in that. But schools are not the answer.

I am happy for staff to have any colour hair, and have tattoos on display - within reason. The tattoos must be appropriate- ie not offensive, rude or affiliated to any negative political signs. But I don’t agree that pupils should also be allowed to have different coloured hair - they are children

It absolutely won’t work effectively as a suitable provision for babies. Schools do have the right experience or understanding.

I wouldn’t share too much personal stuff. Just a bit about your hobbies, your journey to how you got to be a DHT, and then about your values and your ethos.
