The Honourable Justice Scott Campbell is the newest judge of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia.

The appointment, effective immediately, was announced by the federal Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada earlier today.

Since 2018, Indigenous witnesses, accused individuals, victims and others appearing in the Nova Scotia Courts have had the option to take legal affirmations with a sacred eagle feather. Eagle feathers are used in the same way as a Bible or an affirmation.
