Brilliant! Might actually watch it now. Am feeling below-below average so plans for anything much are on hold. I'll go make a cuppa and settle in.

Is that available on streaming? I'd be interested in seeing that.

... What was being shared with schools. 🧐

Also interesting side/related note. Speaking with a young person (primary aged) who told me all about learning in pdhpe how social media and phones were 'bad for mental health'. I quizzed them for more details and reply was a lot of the talking points used by pollies & conservatives. Made me curious

🙏 I've always appreciated your compassion and respectful wisdom, Noor. You really are one of the better eggs on this planet. x

We've known him most of our lives. As a surgeon GP, his impact has been huge in our community over the years. Delivered my hubs. Possibly saved his life at one stage. Always kind and thoughtful. Calling it a day at 90. Will be a big healthcare loss for our town too.

Similar experiences here too. It's breaking g me seeing this in the futures for kids.

Yes :-(.

It's really upsetting seeing the regularity & levels of illness amongst children. From the almost-constant garden variety sore throat, cough, sniffles, buggy things to hospitalisation and stints of weeks off school. It's so wrong. 💔

That's encouraging. I was hoping not to spend too much to try.

I'll see if the local K Mart has one available for click and collect. Otherwise, I might try Ikea. Ta!

Hadn't thought of that, actually. Shall see if anything useful comes up.

💯. I'm SO grateful for the knowledge of and access to respirator masks. Just such an amazingly effective and accessible technology.

If only...

Hope the household member is well again soon, Noor, and the rest of you can stay well too.

Learning thru trauma is of course also very difficult. But unfortunately, we’re still a long ways away from most people accepting the neurological (& other) effects of repeated infections on children—effects that’ll continue til we make changes 2 stop or curb the new infections that occur everyday.

Especially at the start of daylight savings. Ugh.
