I'm not saying this to knock the book: it's a great book. But expecting book loyalty from something that's been through the pop culture perception meat grinder as much as Frankenstein strikes me as a very strange hill to die on.

Unfortunately most of the stuff I've gone out of my way to go to in Montreal are meant for... um... very specific audiences.

And as a reminder, he’s talking about a PREQUEL to First Blood. So a prequel to a movie where the lead was deeply traumatized from his experiences in war… will be a fun adventure for 10 year olds.

I say this because I'd *really* like folks to appreciate the very real cost that comes when indie authors give their audience any other ways to buy their work besides Amazon. It's a near guaranteed loss vs. what they could be making, and if they did this it was either on principle or for your sake.
