1964 the world agrees on strict ethical protections for research participants. 1979 US doubles down on the Belmont report. 2025 what if we just stop funding everything mid trial? When ethics gets tossed aside. Silence is complicity. Academia must speak out. The world must speak out. Ethical obligations don't bend to political whims.
