I'm sure you're right, but I doubt they care much about winning in court because their objective is to harass and intimidate mord than anything else to discourage dissent.

Don't think the drafters of the Constitution ever imagined today's immigration scenario. Seems reasonable what I said in 1/2 about how the UK handles this cuz otherwise people are incentivized to enter illegally and give birth. 2/2

True, and I'm usually with you. I'm US Citizen residing in UK. UK doesn't have birthright citizenship. The mother (or father) must be a UK citizen or have legal right to reside and work in UK, otherwise newborn is a citizen of mothers country. 1/2
