one of the things i love about listening to a song on loop is that after a certain number of listens you start to notice background sounds that you never did initially. music is made of so many layers and sounds built on top of each other, it's fun to see how many you can pick up on

the thing with having free time is i usually don't spend it doing the things i actually want to do (like art or writing) and i just scroll endlessly. and the thing with not having free time is that i tend to make free time, which is usually where my problems arise

i don't miss many things about 13 year old me... but i do miss their ability to just open a document and write whole chapters of fanfiction as it came to them, with no plot in mind whatsoever. wish i still had that kind of confidence
