Have recently re-read Frank Richards, Old Soldiers Never Die. What a rip roaring story. Obviously very brave but that is understated. [He knew Robert Graves (Goodbye to all That) Sassoon (Memoirs of a Fox-hunting Man) and Dunn (The War the Infantry Knew)]. Highly recommended.

I adore how because there is almost no algorithm, a month old post can resurface and get attention again as if it were new, just like tumblr. As an artist it means I don't have to churn out new work constantly to do well on here. I hope bsky sticks the landing!
