We hate the storyline with a passion, but the two-hander in the last part of Wednesday's #corrie was a fantastic showcase of Ali King's and Vicky Myers' acting chops, so that's our #MomentOfTheWeek. Brava! Now please get rid of Becky.

I thought that my ABEH collection had come to a close now that she's shacked up with Carl. Not in a million years did I expect perhaps my favorite ABEH ever to drop unannounced on Wednesday's #corrie. If it is to end, let it end like this.

Even with the gimmick, #corrie is at its best with the small moments that have big impact. Shona orders David out of the car then immediately, in her head, begs him to stay. David, of course, is going nowhere. Lovely stuff and that's our #MomentOfTheWeek!

The guests for Kev's poker night were interesting. Billy the Vicar, Michael whose dad is a gambling addict, and Adam who purposefully got Billy addicted to smack. #corrie

I'm not a fan of gimmicks and the whole internal monologue thing didn't really work for me. It's too tell not show, too exposition-heavy, but mostly, I just didn't believe that this is what Shona and David would be thinking. #corrie

It's not often that the word Kirk appears in a post with a #MomentOfTheWeek tag, but here we are. We enjoyed the dinner scene at the Rovers and even though he was a proxy for Maria, we loved seeing Kirk defend his sister against Eva Cakes! #corrie
