I mean... what were the odds that was ever gonna happen? You can't repossess lip filler. I don't get the impression Santos was saving up durable assets.

I'd kill for an xcom-style terminator resistance game. I know there are games kinda-sorta like that already, but none of them are doing it exactly how I have it in my head..... one day.

I'm an apologist for it. All the stuff with drones, automated factories, and the detention center are pretty graceful ways of showing how we've nudged closer to the scary skynet future, no nukes required.

Also love me some weird gross biotech, really no other developments on that after the T-800.

The actual weight could be different when using different plates even when the listed weights add up the same due to inaccuracies.

More small plates, being further out on the bar, would have more leverage and cause more bar bend, but I doubt that's your problem unless you're moving 400+ lbs.

He is great, he is also cartoonishly productive

I have never started a series of his and waited an annoying amount of time for the conclusion to come out

I think 2016 DOOM committed the crime of doing something well that it shouldn't have been able to: giving DOOM good lore. Tricked the people who made the sequels into thinking they could do the impossible twice by doubling down on it.

It's astonishing what I get on the recommended feed, I feel like it comes in waves, some days normal stuff I like, some days /pol/-level racism

I think it's the only sequel that reiterates the 'we're already in the terminator world, we just haven't burnt the flesh off yet' theme. The depiction of drone strikes, the automated factory, detention center, all felt like an intensification of imagery from the first one.

The wonderful Sabres of Infinity, Guns of Infinity, and Lords of Infinity text games dabble in this concept, it's set in a fantasy world with magic users but they're basically in Napoleonic era warfare.

A related question, what happens to the human mind if it doesn't experience the decay of aging, but is still receiving new experiences? Do very old memories disappear completely over time? Or do they not, but you become less able learn from new experiences? Gotta be some mix of the two right?

I did this with my old macbook battery a few months ago, which I assume is easier than this. I'd say unless you wanna prove your tech prowess, just pay to have it fixed by a pro.

I'm confused what people even get out of a show at this point. Like, is silence that bad?

Talleyrand and his relation with Napoleon comes to mind. Napoleon was very bitter at the end of his life, when he realized how much better he'd ended up than himself.
