There's a lot if you consider all of the pre-web2.0 & pre-SaaS single-tenant server apps you can just ship to the browser now

That plus this trick of tab-to-tab connectivity would unlock new apps based on new protocols without having to wait on the browser vendors to add support. Think local-first and P2P

I could use the terminal on services like github.dev or gitpod when exploring a repo without having to spin up a cloud VM or VPS because I can use my local compute+storage+connectivity instead of someone else's machine.
