Absolutely love how these mugs have turned out! Now they just need to be bisque fired and glazed! I have some exciting plans for the glaze!

I used this bowl as a test for what I am trying to do with my mugs and I am so glad it came out looking good! It still needs to be glazed but I think we may have a winner!

After a weekend of playing with black clay, the first mug is about 90% done! Just need to add underglaze to the plaque section and bisque fire it!

P.s. yes my studio is full of small black clay drops

This mug took so long to make and used to many different decoration styles. Sprig mould for the bee, stamps for the honeycomb design, and slip for the honey effect.
