Spent yesterday afternoon helping my husband prune the peach trees and felt more hopeful. We are horrified but looking towards community sustainability. Planning for hard times.

A wonderful tribute to Pres Carter today. Hearing the late Pres Ford’s written eulogy was so good. The service was celebratory and reflected a remarkable life of such value.

Turns out the lady who does my hair doesn’t “believe” in vaccines. Never had a Covid vaccine. Explained working as a nurse, immunizations were mandatory and since my family likes to eat, well! I don’t know anyone who was immunized who died of Covid but those who weren’t did? 600/day still die.

Looking at Drump’s picks, struck by the fact all are egocentric, self absorbed clowns,the opposite of a team. From Elon down, they live for their own thrills,self aggrandizement and base pleasures. Herding this batch of cats will be unmanageable.

Have yet to post on Blue Sky so! Live in central Nebraska. Am the Dem Chair of my rural, small county and a blue dot. We will keep fighting and tighten our belts! Not moaning the loss but looking forward on protecting for tomorrow. This is NOW the assignment as far as I can see. Protect and build!
