Seems fairly widespread and happening to totally innocuous accounts.

It seems there are a lot of people who are being accused of being fake accounts and the video selfie is how they’re being asked to prove they aren’t bots. But yeah, I’d want to better understand what they’re doing with that data once they’ve seen a real person.

I just went and checked mine lol. Not suspended (although I barely use Instagram). Threads is still there, but you’re right - there are a ton of people posting about being suspended for no reason at all, and sometimes multiple times today already!
